Why the title of this post is 'Missing Something'?! I dunno, maybe because I do miss something. I miss Indonesia, especially Jogja! Hahh, guess it's pretty obvious, isn't it?! Well, yeah, I do miss Jogja. The heat, the people, the places, the soul of the city, so many things! It's my home, it's where I belong. I didn't say that it's terrible here, it's actually nice! But still, home is irreplaceable :'D Here, wherever I go, all I hear is Dutch, or English at school. Well, I do speak Indonesian at home and with Indonesian people, but still, it's different .__. That's something I can't have here: hearing people speak MY language everywhere I go. It's something that makes you feel that you belong to the place, it's something that I feel in Jogja :D I miss that! The way you feel that you're at home, that it's your home and where you belong :")
I also miss my family and friends back in Jogja. Gosh, I can't describe how much I miss my friends, especially best friends! They're my truly friends, the ones I can confide in about every single thing :') Well, sure I'm still able to contact them via Facebook, Twitter or Yahoo!Messenger, but still, it's sooo different with seeing them personally. I can see their faces, their smiles, I can hear their voices, their laughter, that's what I miss the most! There are uncountable memories that we've shared with each others. The laughter, the happiness, even the sorrow and the tears. Two words for it, unforgettable and irreplaceable :')) The moments I miss the most are the moments I spent in SPEDU. I spent 6 full years there, and I got my best best friends there. Those moments are like the most beautiful moments of my life until now. I felt so happy, I felt like myself and I felt...alive. Well it wasn't perfect of course, but that's the point! The imperfection was meaningful. I've learned a lot of things. And those moments are the ones who've made who I am now :)
Maybe, just maybe, I'll get such moments like that here, someday. Who knows?! Well, I hope so. I don't want to get stuck in the past, so I'm looking forward to my life here! Maybe it's not Indonesia, not Jogja, but this is a new beautiful place and I'll have a life here! I'll get stronger and wiser, I hope so ;D
Okay, enough for that topic :D I'll talk about what's up. So. There's supposed to be a school disco (LAS VEGAS!) this Friday, but it's canceled .__. There's a girl from the Maartens College who killed herself last Monday. Terrible, isn't it?! Yeah, I couldn't believe it when I first heard it, but it's true :o So instead of going to the school disco this Friday, I'm going to the movie with my classmates :D We'll watch The Gulliver's Travel. Frederick is going back to Indonesia next week, so it will be like his farewell party hahaha :DD
Mmm, what else?! Oh yeah, book! I've finished another book called 'Linger' by Maggie Stiefvater. Have I told you guys about the first one before it, 'Shiver'?! Well, by the way, those two are SUPER AWESOME books! Those books are really my book type :D It's about a relationship between a girl and a werewolf ;p Okay okay, maybe you'll laugh at me about it. I know, I do have much interests on such topics like vampires and werewolves, but those ARE really good :DD The Twilight Saga, Vampire Diaries, and now this! By the waayyy, these books are sooo romantic and meaningful! I was seriously crying inside hehehehe :p It's a story about a relationship between a girl called Grace and a werewolf called Sam. They fell in love with each others but they had to fight to be together. Well you better read it by yourself, 'cause if you let me tell the whole story, this post won't last hahaha ;DD
Just for your information, I am now reading 'Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters' by Rick Riordan. It's the second book of the 'Percy Jackson and the Olympians' series. I've read and watched the movie of the first one 'Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief'. It's about Greece myths but Rick Riordan wrote it in a modern way, so it's a really good book! Can't wait to finish this one hahahha :D And it's a proper book, by the way, because we're learning ancient Greece in Humanities now ;)
Okay, that's all I wanna tell today. Hope you guys enjoy it hahaha :D Have a nice day, guys! Catch ya up with other posts :))
Regards,
Keisha Lyubiana
