Rick Riordan

Hey guys! How are ya? Hope you guys are doing fine ;) It's Sunday now, but I don't hate it. Why? Because next week is spring holiday! Yeayyy :DDD Well, only for a week, but it's enough, I guess ;DD I don't have any special plans for this holiday, but it doesn't really matter. I got a new book, and it's more than enough! Hahhaha :DD

Well, that's what my post will be about ;) Do you guys now Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan? Well, I guess you guys are more familiar with Percy Jackson and the Lighting Thief, 'cause there's the movie, right?! Well, it's actually the first book of Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. This series is about ancient Greece mythology. Interesting, huh?! Well, it is for me ;p There are five books in this series: Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief, Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters, Percy Jackson and the Titan's Curse, Percy Jackson and the Battle of Labyrinth and Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian.

I've read all of it, and those are REALLY GOOD books! Seriously, I love it! Rick Riordan makes ancient Greece becomes more interesting with this series! And thank to this series, I pretty much know about Greece gods now ;D The main character of this series is Percy Jackson. He's a demigod, which means he's half human-half god. His father is Poseidon, one of the Big Three with Zeus and Hades. He had to fight the monsters and stuffs to avoid the Titans (gods before the Olympian gods) to destroy Olympia. He fought with other demigods from Camp Half-Blood (a summer camp for demigods). He had two best friends that always got his back: Annabeth Chase, daughter of Athena, and Grover Underwood, a satyr (half human-half goat). This series is about Percy's adventure to save the world with his friends ;))

I just finished Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian last night, and today I'm going to start reading The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan also. It's the first book of Heroes of Olympus series, the sequel of Percy Jackson and the Olympians series. It still has to do with Percy Jackson and the Olympians series, but the main character isn't Percy Jackson anymore. This series is still about ancient Greece mythology, but also about Romans mythology. I bet it's really good :D Can't wait to read it! I just bought it a couple days ago, and it's like the only copy in Selexyz Groningen, seriously! It's kinda new book, so the book is BIG and there are few broken pages, but that doesn't really matter actually, I still can read it ;) I just feel so lucky to have that book! ^_^

Still about Rick Riordan books. The Kane Chronicles! It's a series about ancient Egypt mythology hahaha ;DD The first book is The Red Pyramid, and I've read it! It's a really good book also, and I'm waiting for the second one The Throne of Fire. It hasn't come out until March this year :D Rick Riordan is amazing, huh?! He makes me interested in ancient Greece and Egypt mythology hahaha :DDD

Okay guys, that's all I wanna say today! I just had breakfast, and I wanna start reading The Lost Hero! Hehehehe ;pp Thank you for reading :)) Catch ya guys with other posts ;)
